First Total War: Rome 2 DLC will be released a bit later by  2757 views

The first story Total War: Rome 2 add-on, entitled Caesar in Gaul, which had to be released tomorrow, will be launched only on December 17. The project's developer - Creative Assembly company - announced it yesterday.

The game’s creators need some additional time in order to fix the bugs in the expansion, as well as to make the improvements in update 8, which will be released simultaneously with the add-on’s launch. This patch should fix crashes, improve the performance, AI and add to the strategy a new system of the culture. The next patch - 8.1 - (in beta testing) will be launched already in 2 days after the addon’s launch. It will bring the sophisticated siege guns, improved search of the paths, as well as more effective interaction between the bots and the technique during the battles and the sieges.

In the meantime, we are reminding you that the first Total War: Rome 2 DLC, which costs $14.99, will tell us the story of Gaul’s conquest by Caesar in the period from 58 to 51 BC. This add-on will bring a new map of Gaul and southern Britannia, consisting of 18 regions that you should conquer. Also you can choose on which side you would like to fight - for the Romans, becoming Caesar, or for the Celtic tribes, being their chieftain Vercingetorix. Besides it the story Total War: Rome 2 add-on will introduce into the game three new factions, the changing of seasons, and a time period that will be considered here is not a year (as it is in the main campaign), but only two weeks. We think that it should be quite interesting. And what do you think? Do you believe that the delay was really necessary? Leave your answers at the bottom of the page, please.
